Four-Eyed Bullom Helmet Mask

This four-eyed helmet mask from the Bullom people of Sierra Leone (occasionally referred to as Sherbro) features similarities to the widely known Sowei masks from the neighboring Mende people while maintaining its own unique identity. Masks and other tribal art from the Bullom people are extremely rare due to their small population and high adoption of Islam over traditional religious practices.
